Messing up at this stage can mean replacing the whole liner. If you do discover a leak close to the fittings, you will need to check on the liner itself.

Check the Concrete Structure

To achieve this, you will need food color and turn off the pump for at least one hour earlier. Cracks are common in concrete swimming pools. If you squeeze food color near the cracks, you will see food color being pulled in. This way, you will discover where the pool is leaking. Once the leak is discovered, repairing it using a patching material is easy. After patching, use your food color again to be sure that you plugged the leak.
